Phillips Home 2011
The Great Room
The Entry Room
Bedroom 1
This home was getting ready to be put up on the market. The walls of a couple of the rooms had been heavily textured with the rag-method and needed to be sanded down and painted a more-neutral color.
Master Bedroom
This room was a deep violet (the same color as the Private Reading Room in the Steinway Home 2010).
Master Bath
This bathroom was a lovely shade of lavender, and was transformed into a neutral palette for the new owners. The ceiling, which hadn't been painted in over 15 years, was almost a gray, before I painted it a fresh coat of white.
This home sold a week after it was put up on the market, for $60k more than the owner was originally hoping for. And this is during a period of time when people are having to sell their homes for less than they owe. It is amazing what some fresh paint will do for your resale value!

The Private Reading Room
I love the contrast of the deep violet with the bright white.

The Nursery
(And, yes, this picture was taken on a slant...oops!) |
This room was quite a treat to paint. The owner let me choose the colors.
This is the special place for the grandkids when they come by to visit or spend the night.
What a fun home to paint!
